  1. Well the bailiff kept calling my son , so I contacted the court & was advised to fill out the OUT OF TIME paperwork & to contact the council who originally issued the ticket & ask them to call off the bailiff! I called the council & was told the court had already sent confirmation that my son was filling in the OOT paperwork & the bailiff would be notified & not to worry. Phew! Get that sent off asap & hope they take it back to the original fine .
  2. He only found out today. He has the letter from our previous address. i dont understand , usually DCA will find you any way they can , these don't seem to have bothered. His licence address was changed about 3 weeks after this happened. According to the date the bailiff gave.
  3. It says issued on the authority order the traffic enforcement centre at the county court business dented in respect of outstanding penalty charge notice.
  4. My son has just called me saying that he has to pay £400 fine . It turns out that he drove through a bus lane In September 2016 & he has had numerous letters sent to him at our old address. Now we moved house in 2016 , & he didn't change his drivers licence until a month after this had happened. he contacted the company today & they said he has to pay the £400 otherwise they will take his car. They also said they have sent bailiffs to the old house loads of times. .My son said that he changed his licence the month after this must have happened, but the DC said tough , they have been pursuing him at the old address for the last 8 months & he has to pay! & the guy said not their problem! Surely if his licence address was changed not even a month after this had happened, they would be able to get hold of him at the new address? Can he appeal this? Thanks
  5. Yeah got all the usual bills and some debt. 2 kids. Thanks for the advice I will try that.
  6. It seemed to me that the guy I spoke to in recovery wasn't up for making any arrangement other than pay the £647 we won't take further action. He gave me 14 days in which to do so which end on the 14th. He said by paying this amount in full I will show good will and will be able to carry on paying my council tax by installments. I havnt got all that at once plain & simple. Maybe I should just phone & pay as much as I have over the next 14 days and hope for the best.
  7. There is a liability order. I recieved it yesterday. No I didn't get a summons.
  8. The guy I spoke to said I have lost the right to pay by installments and the £647 has to be paid within 14 days. I want to know can they really force me to pay an amount I just don't have, unless I don't pay my rent... Which I don't want to do that and end up in a mess there too.
  9. I don't even know which court it was or when it happened. I am willing to pay it just can't afford the amount they are saying I have to pay or else
  10. Thanks but isn't this a debt issue??? That's why I used the debt forum to post this thread.
  11. Had a letter today from the council saying it has a liability order against us for council tax owed. I called the council and spoke to one of the people in recovery. He said I have to pay £647 in the next 14 days or they will take further action. I did say I could make a payment of £150 in the next 2 days but I couldn't afford the £647 in 14 days but he said that £ 150 was nit enough and only the £647 would be accepted to stop further action. I told him I didn't have that amount he said try and get it. I don't know what to do.
  12. Sent them another letter after finding out about their little bit of bad luck saying I won't accept their poxy offer and to have another look at the figures and get back to me. They did and said it was that offer or nothing as that's all I'm entitled too. So now at a point of do I send another letter accepting or try & fight this...??? I don't know
  13. Sorry been working long hours past few days. Ok so if I write a letter tomorrow to The solicitors asking who arrow are collecting for that will do will it?? What about thecounty courtletter?? I was going to reply to that online...
  14. Ok how do I request that? Letter?? Or by phone? Remembering I only have 14 days to reply to the court claim. Thanks
  15. I wrote exactly what the particulars say. The amount is 990.09 we live in rented accomodation thankyou for your help so far.
  16. I don't know what the debt is for,... Just got letters saying you owe this much to Arrow global with an account number, ( no I dont know what the account number is for) Yes it is on behalf of Bryan carter solicitors . The particulars say the claimants claim is for the balance due under an agreement which is now all due & payable. The defendant agreed to pay monthly instalments under account number ******** but has failed to do so. And the claimant claims the sum of *** the claimant also claims interest thereon pursuant to s.69 county court act 1984 limited to one year to the date hereof at the rate of 8% per annum amounting to ****
  17. Sent Kensington a letter telling them they had robbed me and I want back over £3000 and I want it in a cheque made out to so n so and I want it immediately...In almost those words I sent them a letter it was a bad day & I am sick of being robbed by these people. Lol funny enough I got a reply telling me that my complaint was being dealt with, 1 week later I get a response. They say their charges are lawful, as I signed a loan agreement I am bound by all their t&cs. Theyhave then continued with a breakdown of costs for returned DD etc. Then at the end of the letter they offer me a full & final settlement of £323 which theygot from 3X 100% monthly arrears management fees 6X 50% of monthly arrears management fees 1X direct debit cancellation fee 1X credit control fee I am not accepting it. Even though I think it's funny as hell. Especially as the figure I demanded back was the figure they took me to court for to try to get repossession of my property on ( they didn't ). Just wondering what my next step is.
  18. I have here now a claim form from Northampton county court. No I didn't send the letter recorded, stupid me I know.
  19. Been getting letters from Arrow global for about 7 weeks now for my partner. We have no idea who these people were collecting on behalf of so I sent them a letter asking them to confirm who they were collecting for, I got no reply just another demand for money or else ... Now they have sent me a county court letter. I don't know what to do any help please?
  20. Thanks for your reply Sam. I will send that off Monday morning, they said they know nothing about anything that went on with wescot and the debt is still enforcable and they will keep persuing me for it. I told them not to call again as the debt us unenforcable and they know it but he just kept saying you have to put it in writing and re request the CCA, to which I said I wouldn't as it had already been done with wescot and if they were dumb enough to take on the debt then it was their problem. Will give the letter a go. Just worried now. Thanks again Sam
  21. The disc part just won't play anything apparently it's called the " blu flu" I have just been on hold to Sony fir 21 minutes waiting for anyone to answer my call , it's driving me mad. As I said the warranty had just run out so wether the sticker was on or not it shouldn't matter should it? It has never had a fault before never been opened or touched inside I mean my son is 11 years old.
  22. Had a credit card debt with HBOS that was being dealt with by wescot, sent them a CCA request they didn't provide, sent them the next letter saying the debt was no longer enforcable & never heard off them again, that was months ago. Just started to recieve letters & phone calls from capquest trying to collect on the very same debt!! Can they do this??? Or doi have to do the CCA with them now too?? I thought this debt was unenforcable now , confused & worried now.
  23. I didn't realise that it had been but Sony say it has. It was new. Thing is I phoned Sony and it had run out of warranty the month before the adviser told me, but they would fix it for free as a goodwill gesture. Now they are saying the warranty is void as the sticker has been tampered with. So really the sticker being removed to void the warranty shouldn't matter as it had run out anyway. My son is so upset now after thinking it would be fixed to now maybe not having one at all.
