  1. have followed the guidelines of how to fill in my on line particulars of claim and claimed the interest. However it asks me to tick a bbox indicating "am i claiming interest" when i ticked yes it gave a slightly different version of what i should enter in particulars of claim. Should i be ticking this box? and should i be changing my particulars to excatly as they state or is the layout i got off here okay? Waiting eagerly for response lol, thank you:???:
  2. My LBA was ignored, currently trying to do my online claim. Question is,HSBC have applied further charges onto me since my original letter to them. Can i add this onto my court claim or do I have to stick to the original figure? Dont feel ambitious enough to do a second claim after. Thanks for the help
  3. Thanks very much, thought it was there just not sure if "letter four" is correct one to use. Is it better in your opinion to refuse offer and continue chasing for full amount or except as partial then give ten days for remainder? Just to make sure im right, after giving 10 days if they dont respond, do i then continue with starting small claim?
  4. Hi Everyone Could do with some advise if possible... Sent my pleminary letter to Halifax 28.02.07 requesting charges of £1012.81 including interest. Today recieved letter offering 50% of 2006 charges equaling £125, nowhere does it state full and final. It also includes an acceptance form or alternatively says to "let them know what I would like them to do to resolve this matter" Should i now be sending the "letter 4" accepting this as partial payment but requesting the remainder within 10 days or will commence legal action? what would you recommend? Thanks for your help
  5. Hello All Firstly I'd like to say how chuffed I am to find this site. Pleased to know there are so many people out there in my situation who are here to helP. I've read lots of really good information on where to begin with getting back the ridiculous amount of charges incurred by HSBC over the last few years amounting to £600 approx. My main concern is I'm in debt up to my eyeballs now due to these charges with both a normal bank account and a credit card account (both with HSBC) and a couple of threads I have read are scaring me. Can anyone please tell me more about HSBC 'potentially' paying out but then closing my account. This is obviously very worrying as I'm sure I would struggle getting another plus I also have a loan with them, and have read of another user who had account closed and hmay have to pay it back in full. What is the likelyhood? and do I have a leg to stand on to 'defend' this if they do? I really want to pursue this but am so worried I could end up regretting it. Please Help? Thanks
