Hello all. Though I'd run this past you to see if anyone else has experienced this. 10 weeks ago, I transferred a large sum of money from my account with A&L to what I thought was my sons account with HSBC, by telephone transfer. It turns out that the account no longer existed so I asked A&L to get the money back. They said they couldnt do anything, my son had to contact the HSBC. He has done this and they promised to look into it, that was 10 weeks ago. A dozen or so phone calls to both banks have not go a result. The money is presumably sitting ain a suspense account somewhere but I find it hard to believe that it cant be traced. Any ideas?
