  1. Thanks for the reply, I will read through the guidance notes and apply to have stay removed.
  2. Hi, I am hoping someone will be able to advise me on what to do next. Had a date set for hearing on Mon 22/10/07, sent court bundles to court office and Nationwide solicitors acting on their behalf and am ready for the hearing. But on Fri 19/10/07 I received from the court a GENERAL FORM OF JUDGMENT OR ORDER (which stated) Before DISTRICT JUDGE MORLEY sitting at the Edmonton County Court, 59 Fore St, London, N18 2TN. Upon Reading the defendants letter IT IS ORDERED THAT Claim stayed pending the outcome of the the test case. 2. Permission to Claimant to apply within 7 days of service of this order. Dated 11 October 2007 I have no idea what this means and am not sure if I still need to attend court. The date above is the 11/10/07 but the date at the top of letter in the section which states my claim number is the 17/10/07 and I received it on the 19/10/07 which means the deadline they have stated I need to reply within was already missed before I even opened the letter. Can anyone advise me on what to do next. Much appreciated

  5. I have a charge certificate and possibly the notice to owner but cant find it and dont remember opening a letter with one in. The charge cert states PARKED WITH ONE OR MORE WHEELS ON ANY PART OF AN URBAN ROAD OTHER THAN A CARRIAGEWAY (FOOTWAY PARKING) The space that I parked in is not just a footway but is also used as a driveway for a tool hire company which had its gates shut when I parked there not to mention the 5 recycling bins which do obstruct the path. The cert states pcn issue 3/6/06 notice to owner issue 11/07/06 charge cert date 18/08/06.
  6. Hi everyone, this is my first time using cag and I have read through a number of threads, but have not yet found out what charges the bailiff can add to a parking fine. Also is there a list of contraventions anywhere as how do I know if the contravention is legal or not. I received an instant ticket whilst using a public telephone box as I had parked on the pavement all four wheels but this still left loads of room for pedestrians and had I parked in the road I would of held the traffic up. Anyway its with the bailiffs now who I am having a bit of trouble with. I first received a call from the bailiff who said I owed £200+ and I agreed to pay in installments but needed to pay some straight away but due to not having a debit credit card could not make payment he told me to see if I could find someone whos card I could borrow and call next day. Well I couldnt find a card to borrow and unfortunatly lost his number but assumed he would call me back didnt take the bailiff company name and had not received any letters from them at that time. When someone did decide to call me back I explained the situation and they told me I had to pay by a certain date which was in about 4 days and the only way I could do it was by cheque and they said that it wouldnt reach them and clear in time and therefore I would now need to speak to the bailiff. I then received a letter through my door stating they had been to my property and the bill is now 535 and if I dont pay they are adding another 180 making it a total of £715. I have tried to pay the council but they are no help and refuse to take the cheque so I wondered how do I find out if or when the bailiff may pass the debt back to the council as I would be prefer to pay them the £120 + Which I think is the amount they passed to bailiff. Can anyone help as I just cant pay what they are asking. Hope this makes sense I know I've babbled on a bit
