  1. I've not said anything to them as yet. All I have said is I wanted a complete statment and then we'd go from there. I've not agreed anything... Thanks for the reply to. Daran
  2. I recieved the statment today... £398.00 in total... Not the £300.00 they originally siad.... The charge £10.00 per phone call the swines! They have also given me 14 days to respond... Is this resionable considering they did say if I pay within one month they would accept a reduced amount and do me a deal? Also - is this the next letter I need? Letter - Preliminary approach for repayment I know its specifically refers to Banks so can I alter the wording or is there another letter template? Daran
  3. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm LOL They just called me to say that if I can pay the charges in full within one month they will reduce the total.... Any advise or shall I just tell them I intend to put the process in place to reclaim them against my account? Thanks Daran
  4. Will do - They are "supposed" to send it today... I think they know where I'm heading though by the way they spoke to me.. I said, "oh, ok, please send me a complete breakdown of charges and we'll go from there".... LOL
  5. Ignore - Why when I searched did nothing show... As soon as I post, it does.. lol
  6. Morning All, I have at long last made my final payment to an account where I purchased a Moped :D After calling them to ask for a statment saying I was all paid off they are telling me there are £300+ in late payment charges which now need paying Is this something I can claim against the "Bank Charges" procedure or is there something different I could do? I knew there wewre charges but not to this amount. I've asked for it in writing which should be with me in a few days. I have been told I can make an arrangment to pay this once the statment has arrived. All help greatly appreciated as always. Daran
  7. I'm worried they will continue to... What about the ID worry? Any ideas?
  8. Welcome and I'm sure there are plenty Guru's other than your self to comment
  9. No its not an IVA opr Loan... I pay them to get all my statment corispondence and calls from them and make payments on my behalf.. From their site: Well.... Just spoken to them and as a company they do not assist directly or manage the claims due the amount of clients they have. But she is sending me a full list of my creditor details for me to follow up if I want to... However, she did ask me to let her know how I get on and once any refunds have been agreed, to send her the corispondence and she will make any balance amendments to each managed creditor... D
  10. Hi All, I searched this time and found nothing ;-) I recently received a letter from a well known Debt Enforcement agency trying to recover a debt which is not me. However, I know the person its addressed to. He has NEVER lived and NEVER will live at my flat. I have phoned him and the conversation went as you can imagine. I have tried but with no avail to talk with both the enforcing agency and the company they represent. Obviously they give me no info as I'm not the debt holder. I have spoken to Equifax and they have told me that as long as I hold no financial links to the other person which I don not, there's nothing to worry over. My concern here is that if this so called friend has raised credit at my address, is it not probable that he also has ID in his name at MY address? Any thoughts are very welcome. Regards D
  11. Its not actually an IVA more of a managed bank.. I pay them so much per month, they distrubute it to my debtors.... I was not able to IVA for whatever reason.... I am kinda hoping that refunded fees wouldn't so much be returned to me but taken from my hefty overall balances... D
  12. True but I'm not new to forums... Is this still the case as I am with UK Debt Management Company who deal with all my finances now Thanks D
