  2. Thanks for answering! I asked for £906, plus interest and costs. I was offered £830 which I accepted. I then wrote to the Court to cancel the claim which they clearly haven't received, as now received this judgement letter. Can I just check that I am OK to ask for the £76, the £169 interest and the court fee? I have to provide this claim info by 16/7 or apply to stay, set aside or vary the order by 2/7. Thanks again, anyone that reads this.
  3. I wrote to HSBC doing the usual requests for a refund. As they had not replied within timescales, I filed MCOL. A couple of days later received an offer from HSBC for my charges minus £70 minus interest minus court fee. I accepted this and sent acceptance back to HSBC. I wrote the the court to advise that I had accepted this. This was back in April. 4. After my success against HSBC I am starting a claim against Cap One for my MIL. They are so moneygrabbing I can't wait until they repay the £580 of charges over the past 2 years. Then comes Barclaycard and woolwich!! Prelim to be be issued 3/7/06

  6. You have put Woolwich Building Society and Woolwich PLC neither of which exist anymore. The correct format I believe is The Woolwich (Branch name here), Barclays Bank PLC, Branch address. HTH
  7. I am surprised that they haven't put the cash in yet. My judgement issued 9th, cash in 10th, letter from DG asking for certificate of satisaction11th. Keep calm!!!!
  8. Barclays own the Woolwich and Egg are/were connected to the Prudential so you would be fine with any other bank!
  9. They have until tomorrow to acknowledge service otherwise I will be going for a judgement!
  10. please can you cast your eyes over this. Moneyclaim to be filed tomorrow: The claimant has had a contract with the defendant, HSBC Bank PLC, dated XXXX and which is conducted on their standard terms and conditions under references ************. The claimant is claiming the return of money taken by the defendant in the way of charges over the last 6 years plus court costs plus interest pursuant to section 69 County Courts Act. The bank's charges are a disproportionate penalty and therefore unenforceable as they are contrary to common law. Further, as a disproportionate penalty they are in
  11. It looks like that they have ignored your request for confirmation that your credit file is clear.
