  1. Thanks for that folks. I'm seriously hoping that my claim will pay off my overdraft. Even hoping that the Nationwide won't close my account lol. We'll see!
  2. Hi all, hoping there are some fellow claimers from Norn Iron here!! I have my charges on the spread sheet, have set up a parachute account (although hoping I won't need it) and am ready to send off my first letter. Accepting that they will most likely send me the same ole letter as everyone else gets and not settle until I file a claim in court - where does the claim have to go if you are filing in NI. Does anyone know of a thread etc. where I can find samples? Don't want to start off the process until I'm absolutely clear as to what I will have to do. Thanks in anticipation.
  3. Thanks DDD will do. Bit daunting but hey all these people can't be wrong!!
  4. Ok, well maybe I'll open another online account just in case and get rolling. ANy views on whether it best to ask them to detail charges or just go ahead and detail it yourself!?
  5. I really want to start this process and have all my statements so have completed the spreadsheet. It's around £2k which would clear my overdraft thank you very much! However I was stalling because of the whole changing bank accounts whilst O/D thing. So question is are N/Wide still rountinely closing accounts. It seems that Lori got a behave yourself letter - is there a £sum that they seem to tolerate etc? Thanks in antici .................pation!
  6. Thanks for the help, I have now managed just to list all my charges (just around £1500) and I'm just missing two or three months so not sure I bother to get those statements tbh. My O/D realistically will take me six months or so to clear, as I have a lot going on this year and I don't have oddles and oddles of disposable income right now
  7. Thanks that's helpful indebtstudent. I'll have another look tonight and start completing the spreadsheet later this week. I think I will have to wait until my o/d is paid though as I don't want them pulling the plug on that because I'm being difficult lol! Just want to get it prepared and see what it looks like first.
  8. Ok I'm not thick, honest! I do have my Flex Account statements (or the vast bulk of them going all the way back six years) but I'm finding the charges confusing. For some months I seem to have a separate statement of the charges incurred, but they are also listed in the main statement. So need to understand are they duplicated on the charges statement? Just a tad confused and don't want to start off by sending a claim that isn't correct. Thanks in anticipation.
  9. New here, first day ........ so much information. I do have a question though and it's specific to my account provider. I'm trying to get my list of charges - I do have all my statements, but what I can't work out is if the list of charges contained in the main body of my statements are replicated of separate charge sheets which come along with the statements, some months is looks like they are, others it doesn't! I'm confused!!
