Thought I would post an update in relation to this. After receiving another three or four letters late last year from a company working on behalf of PE stating the client was going to take action and I should pay immediately while each time ramping up the fine ...I decided to call their bluff and not respond. So to date I have not heard anything further from PE. So this is going back to June 2019. Will post if anything further happens3 points

the 80% is if you are furloughed - you are not working at all. You can't use it to make up some of a wage. This is however all very new so employers are working through it. If I were the employer I might - keep some people working on normal hours - furlough others at 80% people at 80% But how do you choose? https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/guidance-to-employers-and-businesses-about-covid-19/covid-19-guidance-for-employees#furloughed-workers So. She could ask to be furloughed. She could ask for her normal hours. I don't think anything is going to court2 points

Yes but did it have a central reservation separating the two carriageways, or was it just white line? As honeybee has indicated, there may be some confusion as to what constitutes a dual carriageway. The number of lanes is irrelevant. It is the dividing reservation which must be present.1 point

Well quite, that's one of the reasons why not a single government in the world has adopted herd ''immunity'' as a policy.1 point

Lockdown is starting to happen anyway. In my local high street, cafes, bars and most shops are now closed until further notice. A local B&Q was really busy yesterday, with people stocking up with DIY materials as they are expecting to be at home for a few weeks. So from next week, the UK will be locking down, with only key workers going to work.1 point

I think the UK will have to follow other countries into lockdown. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/mar/21/disaster-waiting-to-happen-visitors-flock-to-skegness1 point
