  1. The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) is calling on MPs to licence the automotive retail sector, in a new lobbying campaign set to begin when parliament returns from recess. IMI will tell MPs that according to newly conducted consumer research, over 70% of voters think it’s already a requirement for technicians in the motor industry to hold a licence to practise. The call follows news that the Government plans to have driverless cars on UK roads by 2015. 2. Here you go POPLA - Parking On Private Land Appeals. An "independent" appeals service. Although having used quotation marks, in fairness it has to be said that they do tend to allow a lot of appeals in favour of the motorist. Run by the BPA. POPLA Code - Is the code that you need in order to lodge your appeal with them. BPA - British Parking Association. 4. The property management company are most likely the cause of all of your agonies so they will not help you as it is not in their interests to do so. Ignore DR+ as they are toothless rentathreats. The only people who can cause you trouble are UKPC and they are rubbish at following the procedures of the PoFA so generally they dont want to do battle. That is why they have employed these people.

  5. If you can prove that they have the books, then this wont go near any type of court. The DCA does NOT care ( there are not legit looking dca's. Theyre all the same). All they want is the money stated on their information so they can get their grubby little hands on it.

  6. UKPC can think about taking you to court... but they won't. https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/reque...IS%2085865.doc https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/reque...090006%203.doc Make sure in your appeal that you state 'cancel charge or provide a valid code for POPLA'. And state that you have proof of postage for your appeal.

  7. Pretty much. The permit has no real meaning on private land. Of course, youd suffer the wrath of the landowner if you abused it, but a PPC cannot do anything about it. Which is why they rejected your appeal/ They think if they blindside you, youll pay up willingly.
