  1. The Thomas Higgins Partnership are a company that small business' use when they have an outstanding debt. They write LBA's for the business for a fee, and if so required they do instigate small claims court proceedings. If court proceedings are instigated, then you do not have to attend, but you will receive judgement against you whether you owe the money or not. Once you have a judgement against you, you then have the option of applying to the court to be able to pay in instalments. You will have to fill out an income and expenditure form, and the judge will then decide how much you must pay each

  2. Hi Jackie I'll need a business account soon and if I cant get a mainstream account I'll need cash plus, they won't accept cheque payments and they wont supply the payment equipment your referring to. As far as I'm aware u can rent them from certain companies and get it set up to pay into your account but cash plus won't supply anything. Did you try Barclays for a business account? They'll be my first port of call, cash plus is really no use since they don't let u pay in cheques

  3. It is guaranteed for 5 years then . A piece of card is not going to make the boiler not break down so an argument about liability due to you not registering will not impress a judge. Basically they say that 5 years is how long they guarantee their goods for.
