  1. Sorry gillyskip, I wasn't suggesting that you were trying to defraud the system, I understand that Mr. and Mrs gillyskip have unquestionable integrity and a parents love for their daughter whom they wish to help. I commend your concern. The unfortunate thing is that, the previous and current governments drives to cut welfare costs is all about accusing claimants of being cheats, therefore I advised (as JonCris did) that accountability and transparency is required, otherwise HMG and the LA put you in the impossible position of proving your innocence, therefore evidence of your honesty can save you years of legal hassle and solicitors charges.

  2. This it? N1 CPC Claim Form. Standard Northamton Bulk Issuing Centre. This is a Claim issued automatically via Northampton Court, and yes, it is valid. 3. You will need to defend, so go online and fill in the appropriate form for letting the Court know you will be sending a Defence. Send Capquest this: (As you say too late for SAR, or CCA) Send by Recorded or Special Delivery asap: REQUEST FOR INFORMATION UNDER THE Civil Procedure RULES. Dear Sir/Madam, I have received the Court claim filed by your Company. To enable me to file a defence and counter-claim, I require specific information regarding t

  3. Here's some info on the use of Part 18. You send a letter. I do have one somewhere in my files. I will pop back later when I have found it unless someone comes up with one before then as I have "stuff" to attend to - of the domestic kind. http://www.pinsentmasons.com/PDF/RequestsforFurtherInformation.pdf This is a SAR request I have used. It's not my own original work but gleaned from other sources on here and elsewhere so apologies if anyone recognises their work. I am using it for the greater good. Brassed Off I have already changed the text to the Cabot names so just check it but you can just cut and paste. I would get this in t

  5. Look near the top of the page just below the three yellow bands of colour and the thread page numbers there is a smallish box headed 'Consumer Forums Menu'. To the right of that box is an arrow tab. Click on it and voila.

  10. All good advice, but just a little info to put your mind at rest. Here threats are nothing short of criminal. You are paying what you can afford - if you cannot afford £21 then don't pay that much, set an amount you can manage and stick to that, a judge, should it ever end up in court, would call them time wasters - you are paying, what more do they want. Secondly, they have to have an enforceable Agreement to go anywhere near a Court, which is the reason you have been advised to send of a request for one. In the unlikely event of Cap 1 producing one, then and only then 'could' they take you to Court, bearing in mind what

  11. Hi, I would report Worst Credit anyway as they are not following the OFT's requirements imposed on them last year. http://www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/press_release_attachments/1stcreditrequirements.pdf (have a look at 1.2) Anyhoo, I would SAR Cap1 not just to get the statements but also to get your account history and see if they have followed the rules
