  1. Hi So this is a long story! I originally took out a lbl of 2100. Long story why but it was my only option at the time. Have paid this off for approx 6 months. Took a further loan for 500 a month ago. Everything was fine but then circumstances happened and I was no longer able to make the payments. I had the v5 as I had applied for change of address and was sent a new one. I did loads of research and spoke to a local company who offered to buy the car from me. Settle the loans with the lbl company and then pay me the difference so I could buy a cheaper car. I requested settlement figures from motorkitty and went to my app. The bloke who ran the company appeared to be in a rush and was literally locking up around me whilst sorting the paperwork. He was getting into a mess sorting out the figures and so asked me to send him the details for the first lbl for him to pay and then he would sort the 2nd. He paid the first one by bank transfer and then said actually let's go check out the car. We went out and he did checks and then we went back in. He cancelled my road tax and then sent me the balance of what he had worked out I owed. I was really anxious with the e tire thing as I was in a complete mess and it didn't click until he messaged me 2 days later saying the 2nd loan wasn't paid! I had bought my replacement car by this time and didn't have any finds left. He got really nasty threatening to contact my work and the police and report me for fraud as he is claiming I didn't inform him of the 2nd loan and me sending him that email backs up his story! I have spoken to motorkitty. They have offered to put the 2nd loan onto my new car but want to add hundreds of pounds in charges making it nearly 1000 for a 500 loan. The man from the other company is also threatening court. I really don't know what to do for the best. I understand I need to pay this as the bloke who bought the car messed up, however I can't afford the £75 A month payments for 2 years that motorkitty bow want to charge me. I'm really scared. Its a total mess and I don't know what to do. I'm terrified the police are going to knock on my door and I can't sleep. Can anyone offer me any advice as I'm totally stuck on what to do! Additionally: I received a default notice from motorkittytoday. It says the total outstanding is 4000! I queried this with motorkitty and they said that although the first larger loan was settled it's not closed off as it is linked to the 500 loan. Does that mean they can do after me for 4000? On a 500 loan? Thank you
  2. Well guys here i am again ... just search my posts. OK here we go ...... My son was on Universal credits and was hit with 4 sanctions 1 after the other for 28 days each with the final one being for 92 days due to the previous 3! He was under a "sick note" for 3 of them and the fourth was for not doing enough entries on hit work diary thing. I went to a routine meeting with my son and was met with what i would class as hostility. I am mobility impaired and on good days i can walk with a stick but i am in constant pain. So the first thing my son asked was if there was a chair for me me and his work coach said "your father can stand" Anyway after a lot of messing to get a chair and then to move from in front of her I got to work on why she sanctioned him for being unfit. A long conversation entailed with her constantly repeating that all was correct i left telling her that she was ignorant of the law and needed further training. If you had been there to see the way i was treated and also my son i am sure you would have not kept control. I helped my son get the sanctions lifted and then luckily he got a job as this one at the DWP was after him for sure!!! The problem now is that he was fired due to not being able to keep up with his duties. I am now very concerned that the DWP will do what they can to make his life unbearable. Is it possible to get permission to accompany my son and to speak on his behalf as he finds things difficult to understand at times and a lot of things just go over his head. Also is it possible to video record all appointments as they either lie or AS THEY SAY "IGNORANCE IS NOT AND EXCUSE" so they are lying to him or are ignorant to the law as i have proven on numerous occasions so i know they are after us!!! What can i do to protect my son and also myself from being targeted??
  3. Just wanted to update you 5 years on We didn't have a success story sadly, we lost our home with just 2.5 months arrears on it. What I did want to say is that, we got over it and we went on It's been a long slog, my other half was made bankrupt and sometimes we still get money chasing calls, but after 4 weeks in a B & B I found a private rental with the most amazing landlords and we're still here now. Despite our outcome I wanted to reassure people that if the worst happens, you do survive Ell enn.... you were amazing. You kept me calm and on focus when the world around me was collapsing. I thank you for that still. Rach xx
  4. Hi, just wandered if someone can clear it up for me,theres so many schemes, ive tried reading everything but its baffling to be fair, to set the story up,we have been on council/housing association for a number of years now, since a couple of months ago we now have a decent wage, all in about 30'000 a year,we would like to get our own house, now or in the future, my credit score sadly is pretty bad, through poor judgment in the past! my wifes is okay, the goverment introduced the homebuy scheme which you put up a 5% deposit etc, we have looked into moving, i guess what im asking is how does this work exactly, with the credit scoring, the lenders etc, is still the normal process or do they take other factors into consideration to help get the house, my post is pretty confusing i guess but the more i read the more i get confused myself!
  5. Some time ago I had a account with Barclay card defaulted on it they never really harassed me about it in fact I went months no letters from them I did ask for a true copy credit agreement got sent a blank made up one and argued with them for a bit and they just stopped replying even the CAB couldn't get a reply from them when they requested the agreement. last year I got a notice of assignment the debt was passed on the Lowell, Barclays marked the defaulted account as satisfied on my credit record and Lowell took over marking my credit file defaulted they do every month to this day I requested the true credit agreement from Lowells from then on. June last year Lowell closed my file telling my they couldn't find the credit agreement as it had been so long. Today I gets a letter from Barclay card with yet another blank made up credit agreement demanding payment What the F LOL

  7. Just been nosing around as you do on your day off....lol, and found this on CREDIT TODAY. These people think they really are something. Winners of Utilities & Telecoms Awards 2012 announced 20 September 2012 http://www.credittoday.co.uk/article/14364/online-news/winners-of-utilities-telecoms-awards-2012-announced- Perhaps CREDIT TODAY is some kind of secret sect like the moonies and they just keep on having these made up proclaimed important award ceremonies to keep their followers happy.
  8. I had SRJ (DCA) contact me the other week about a BT bill which I didn't know existed. I wrote back to them, asked them to put the account on hold and get back to me with all documentation which they have been provided about the outstanding amount. I receive today: All well and good, I still don't know what the debt is so I look at the paperwork I asked for: Item 1) BT Final bill copy, Amount £294.25 Item 2) ANother copy of Item 1 Item 3) another copy of item 1 I've sat here thinking WTF what a bunch of idiots.... Can someone help me with something to write back? All I've got so far is, and I really couldn't help myself:
