Is there a template for asking for the CCA, or anyone on here that could word a letter for me? Its for solicitors acting on behalf on Greenwoods. Would the letter need to be sent to the solicitors or could I hand deliver it to my local Greenwoods office?

Any help much appreciated,

Thanks.

The letter is just above your post! lol

I do not know too much on this subject only on page 36 of 300 (there is a huge amount of talk about this). I would send it to Greenwoods as they should have the agreement. Perhaps if solicitors do contact you so the account is in dispute?

Help me to help others!

The template for the CCA request can be found here:

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/general-debt/20758-creditors-dcas-letter-templates.html#post162367

If a solicitor is chasing you for a debt I would CCA the solicitor in the first place and state that you dispute the debt. The solicitor has to comply as per s189 of the CC Act.

Include a p/o for £1 and be sure to send it recorded delivery so there can be no arguements about delivery.

Good luck, Dave.
