I read an article in the a daily newspaper about a law student taking the Abbey National Bank to court over excess bank charges he claimed damages. He accepted a large amount out of court settlement.

I would like to recover £xxxx from the Lloyds TSB, which I have been over charged over 5 years, I have not calculated the interest on top of the estimated amount. I do not wish to claim damages just over charged amount and interest.

I have a loan and credit card with Lloyds TSB. Please explain about the structure of the letter which I need to send and other important factors.

I have opened an account with another Bank as a safety net.

I can't believe this is a possibility - I've accepted and paid these fines for years, totalling over £1000!!

read the FAQs and please start your own thread. Don't hijack another thread.
