I have issued my vclaim against BOS but am confused about the various dates. I issued the claim on 2/11/2006, it has a date acknowledged of 10/11/2006. Apparently they have 28 days from the date served to respond. How do I know the date served ? I want to make sure I tick the right box as soon as I can lol

Ok when you issue the claim it is usually deemed served after 5 days. They then get 14 days from then to acknowledge the claim. If they dont then you can ask for judgement.

If they acknowledge they then get a further 14 daysy to enter a defence the second 14 days does not commence until the first 14 days are up regardless of when the acknowledge. Also if the 28th day falls on a weekend they then get the Monday as well hope this makes sense.

Starting to get anxious now. BOS have until 5th December to file something with the court. Has anyone else been at this stage ? I can't seem to find much on BOS and a wondering if I will end up getting that allocation questionaire that people talk about.
