Hi All

Jut after bit of advice.

I recently lost my pandora bracelet and 8 charms on holiday.

I made a claim when I returned on my travel insurance. Limit for a single item was £300. My claim for the bracelet and charms was £490.00.

They will only pay £300 as they say it was 1 item.

Would you say this was correct? Charms were all bought separately over a period of a couple of years.

Hi.

Which insurance company are you dealing with please and what does your policy document say about single items?

HB

its Sainsbury's Bank.

• Any claim over the single article limit for one article, pair or set of articles which

are complementary or used or worn together as shown in the Policy limits and

excesses table for the level of cover you have selected

• Any claim over the valuables limit as shown in the Policy limits

I suppose as they are worn together then that why. Lesson learnt!!
