I'm not quite sure I can agree to this statement. I don't see any problem with speaking out against dictators no matter where they come from. Facebook and Twitter are the two platforms where I see more racist comments than any other.

 

I am interested in politics wherever it appears and I feel the need to say it how I see it. That is the whole point of living in a democratic country. I don't care that Donald Trump is a Republican just as I wouldn't care if he was a Democrat or an Independent. What I do see is Donald Trump, as a person has, in my opinion, no clue on what he is doing. He looks at the now rather than the future.

 

Trumps stated aim is to Make America Great Again (MAGA) however, the USA is not the greatest country in the world as some people like to state.

They are still the most powerful, but they are no longer the richest in any real terms, just the biggest amount in debt (a lot of it to China), although Japan is w=the worst as a percentage of GDP.

Based on % of GDP the USA is only a bit worse than us.

Trump's claim that his Moscow tower was only an idea seems to be coming unstuck, there's quite a lot of paperwork around.

Well he has already been caught out on the Moscow tower. His lawyer at the time stated that discussions were discontinued in the January whereas it actually carried on to June. Trumps lawyer at the time, Michael Cohen stated to the enquiry that Trump forced him to lie.

I for one will read the Mueller papers when they are released (hopefully soon)

Has anyone watched 'All the President's Men' about the Watergate investigation? I think it's a fascinating film.

There seem to be similarities between that and the Mueller investigation to me as in senior associates being arrested one by one.

It's entertaining but if like me you're more interested in the facts then the best Watergate documentary is "United States vs. Nixon" which is part of CNN miniseries The Seventies.
