I use a pharmacy which is inside a supermarket, last week I wasn't very well and had a slight argument with another shopper within the supermarket. This resulted in security being called and they were very heavy handed in my opinion. It eventually all fizzled out. There were threats to ban me. I didnt give any personal information and in the end they just walked away.

My question is though I need to return to the pharmacy to get my repeat medication as it goes through automatically and has already gone through. can security prevent me getting my medication.

I will change pharmacy but it won't be until the new year as it takes time to sort out

Hi and welcome to CAG.

In my opinion you can go and collect your prescription and as there has been no actual ban, you can continue to shop there too.

It may be worth getting your scripts from another pharmacy. Your receptionist at your doctors should be able to help.

If security enforce a ban, they should at the very least allow you to collect your drugs but they may escort you.

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.

Everything I say is opinion only. If you are unsure on any comment made, you should see a qualified solicitor

When we had a Post Office in our shop we had one person who was banned from entering the shop, therefore they were also excluded from using the Post Office as to do so meant entering the shop. They tried all routes of complaint but all failed and they had to go elsewhere to cash their giro - yes it was that long ago.

Thanks that is what I'm hoping
