DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Update.

Southern Water have sent me a whole load of information after I sent them a SAR request. In their letter they have stated that they have removed charges up to September 2013 and won't be pursuing the rest. The matter is closed. Phew.

Thank you. Am relieved.

They chose to wipe up to September 2013 (which is only 5 years) and I'm not entirely sure why. But I have the letter now so I don't mind at all. Maybe they just thought it wasn't worth the hassle?

Some of it would have been SB for sure as they started chasing the 2011 bill in April 2012 and, apparently, defaulted me in July 2012 (I haven't got a default from them though. I just checked).

And I've just realised the default would have dropped off by now. But I've never noticed one on there anyway.

well now go scan them all and put the penstick in a safe place in another building.

never rely upon keeping all documentary paperwork in one place only, a fire can be devastating.

It does suggest that they dont actually have any figures so cant break them down into what was due for how much energy on any particular dates.

They have also got things wrong procedurally so that would have lost them up to half of any successful claim and without the breakdown they would just end up owing you money for their trouble.
