DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Then cabot are ignoring their responsibilities. CCA cabot. If they try to ignore it or mislead you again, thats their issue. Not yours. They are obliged to fulfil your CCA request upon receipt. IF they cant, then they must inform you as such

If it established that the DCA had no right to collect payments from me can I ask for a refund?

I have been paying them for over 2 years.

Could they then return/sell the debt back to the original creditor (assuming they never held the original cca)?

Yep. Then you get on with yourlife until they can provide a compliant agreement. You ignore everything from them and dont communicate with them unless theyre dumb enough to send a pap letter.

Then you still dont reply to them, and you come back here.
