I personally know somebody who got a mortgage with an IVA so I know its possible as that's more frowned upon. I appreciate I won't get as good a deal having a DMP to my name though.

Been in DMP for about 5 years. So defaults will be gone within 2 years.

Cabot (was Halifax) £2300

  • 2 weeks later...

Hello all.

I am currently paying into a DMP with PayPlan and all of the creditors are shown on the CRA's except one, which I cannot find on any of the CRA's.

I was wondering if this loan remains the only one outstanding and not showing on my credit file, mortgage lenders won't know that it's outstanding? Correct?

Also should I still be paying this debt?

I have no idea when it was taken out or what the original amount was.

Any advice appreciated and will be rewarded with a donation once i'm in the black!

i'll upload now.

Yes I sent CCA Letters to all who aren't original lenders. Since Cabot told me the debts are unenforceable, I haven't paid anything to anyone. My Nationwide has recently been referred to Moorcroft. Payplan hve now 'disowned' me for not playing ball.

You should CCA the ones that are still with the OC's too.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..
