I got a car on finance.

What charges should I expect if I phone them for a settlement figure on a £15000 finance that I took out 4 days ago.

I don’t want to call yet because the dealer is fitting extras on car that’s not yet been done and it’s not in writing.

[ THEY SAID IF BUY THE CAR TO WE WILL FIT THIS].

Worth about £300

And afraid they won’t do it if they realise they won’t get their commission.

Did you sign up on premises?

Does the credit agreement state the above?

You might be able to cancel directly anyway even if you did

Ring the finance company tomorrow and cancel if they will let gou

Whos the creditor

Whos the dealer

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

You have a right to withdraw from the agreement for up to 14 days after taking it out, therefore if you took this out on 28th June and haven't yet notified them you need to do it NOW, however only do it if you are sure that you will be able to clear it in full.

You then have up to 30 days to repay the amount advanced plus a small amount of interest calculated at a daily rate which should be indicated somewhere on the agreement. This is by far a cheaper way of going about things than a normal settlement figure would be.

It makes no difference whether you signed on or off trade premises.
