I am in a DMP and have been since the beginning of this year.

Natwest loan £4889

Natwest OD £1249

JD Williams £1749

Very £771

I have been self running a DMP and paying each £1 for 4 months. I am upping my payments from July to:

Natwest loan £57

Natwest OD £15.37

JD Williams £20.65

Very £1

According to my noodle report Natwest have me at DM(4) for May, JD Williams has had me at DM(UC) since March and Very the following:

Jan - DM(1)

Feb - DM(1)

Mar - AR(UC)

Apr - AR(UC)

May - AR(UC)

With Very placing AR markers does that mean I'm unlikely to get a default anytime soon?

JD Williams & Very are both being reported as up to date even though I am in arrears of £278 for Very and also JD Williams, though neither are adding interest, that is just Natwest.

I have heard Very is terrible at defaulting and you have to either not pay or not clear arrears within 1 year.

The whole point of a DMP is to get defaults and clear credit history in 6 years. Isn't AR worse than a default?

moved to debt self help

yes DM or AR are far worse than a default they never drop of

are all your debts still with the original creditors

or are you paying a powerless DCA?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Only Very is with NCO (in house I believe) but according to Payplan (no longer with them)

have Westcot for Natwest, that was in March and

since doing it all myself I have only been dealing with Natwest and have heard nothing from Wescot.

i'd let things run

never pay a DCA

they are not bailiffs and have zero legal powers.

the debts will be sold on

when they do

they must default them

  • 3 weeks later...

yes I am only paying £1 a month to each.

I have since had letters from Natwest demanding all monies by 22nd June and have now closed my access to my accounts. JD Williams just send me statements with an attached default leaflet.

Don't want to receive a CCJ !!

When I finally get defaults can I get the dates of them changed to the beginning of this year?

Going through my Natwest letters and I have a letter dated 16 June 2018 saying I am due a refund of interest of £468.98 from 16/1/18 to 25/06/18 due to not sending out a NOSIA.

So far the refund hasn't been added to my loan account (no longer able to check).

Last look the balance was £4889, on 02/01/18 the balance was £4707 with arrears of £426.53.

Should the refund bring my balance down to £4421?

Received letters today from Natwest for all accounts I've ever had (7) saying they have now partnered with Westcot. I await a letter from Westcot. Does this mean they have assigned and not sold on the debt?
