DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

  • 2 weeks later...

Did you send them exactly what they have asked for in that missive?

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!

Thanks for quick response Andy

Just checked on my Payplan account. And this info is from my Payplan creditor details :-

The ‘ product ‘ name is listed as ‘ Moorcroft arrow NFS ‘ with the exact same transfer date

So yes I presume it is with arrow.

Unfortunately I do not have any paperwork I’m just going from what my Payplan information says

Thanks Andy

Hi

With regard too these two Moorcroft / Arrow Global debts.

I originally sent both CCA requests to Moorcroft - over two weeks ago.

In light of this info ( that moorcroft dont own debt and are only chasing ) - - -

shall I send off two fresh CCA requests to Global now ?

Thanks again ???

Hi

Two of my debts are with Moorcroft ( chasing for Arrow global )

I sent CCA requests to Moorcroft

So do I need to send again to Arrow global ?? ??

Haven’t heard from Moorcroft in over 2 weeks.

Thanks

Because original question was referring to the MBNA CCA Request sent in error.

This is a variation on question as I found that the two CCA requests were sent to Moorcroft.

I’m sending again to arrow and put this question to bed.

Thanks again and sorry for confusion.

  • 8 months later...

Hi all

Been reading up on Shelleys and Martin2006 threads ( which are very good indeed ) and looking in doing the following credit card charges reclaim.

MBNA card - Defaulted around 2007 - cannot check accurate date as dropped of CRA and NO DN in SAR.

—————————Credit Card Charges reclaim——————————————

Total Charges = £521

Total Compound Interest @ 24.90% = £10.699.22

Total Claim = £11220.22 ( which is WHOPPING ! )

Outstanding Balance with DCA £4500

——————DCA—————————

MBNA card taken out 2003.

They then SOLD the debt of £4500 to DCA in 2011

—————————————————

As this is over £10,000 - my understanding it is eligible for fast track, but with me having to pay both sides if I lost ? I just cannot afford that.

Any thoughts / ideas on the best way to play this ?

Thanks as always.
