Hi, I need some advice on what to do

I received an attachment of earnings form which the creditor is my former landlord and it states i owe him just over £5000.

The thing is I haven’t been to court for this or had any paperwork

For it and there is no judgment recorded for it on my credit file at my old or new address.

What should I do?

Blakey

Does it refer to the judgment claim number on the N56 ?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Contact Northampton MCOL and request a copy of the claim and judgment.

Have you checked here for the CCJ.....

In the meantime you must complete and return the N56 within 8 days...if you object subject to what you find out from MCOL...at point 10 on the N56 tick Suspend.

Okay. Eventually I got through to MCOL in Northampton and they have no record of any judgment with the case number on the letter.

Combined with the fact that nothing is on my credit report. I am wondering if it’s genuine at all!

I’m thinking about not filling it in and seeing what happens (if anything)

Ok. Sorry for the delay updating as after scanning in the form I forgot to take it with me to work so I didn’t have the claim number with me!

Dartford have no record of the case number and have told me to contact the money claims centre! (Which I already did)

So what do I do next?
