Hello and welcome to CAG.

I've moved your thread to the benefits forum, people should be along later.

Compliance interviews aren't normally as scary as they sound and some people have even found they were entitled to other benefits. Can you tell us what the letter says and what the job title of the person you're seeing is please?

You can do a search of the benefits forum for compliance interviews, you'll find quite a few threads where people have said they don't know what they were worried about. The main thing is to be honest with the compliance officer.

It could be for any reason, if it's compliance it's nothing to much to worry about.

Could be some erroneous government data that's been matched through to some one has made a malicious complaint through to a genuine benefit review.

Take what they ask, answer their questions and it will be resolved before you know it.

Agree. Most likely they want to satisfy themselves that there is no hidden source of money that has not been disclosed.

Tell tale signs of other sources of income/savings are not using the main Bank account for regular spending on essentials. If someone is not using their main Bank account on a regular basis with a typical pattern of spending, then it suggests other sources of money. For example, someone that maybe earning money from a cash in hand job, might always have cash in their pocket, so they don't have typical debit card transactions in Supermarkets or cashpoint withdrawals of money.

If there are no hidden sources of income or hidden savings, then there is nothing to worry about.

We could do with some help from you.
