I don't think so.

No, they don’t.

Caveat: your mail gets held at a ‘cage’ in the delivery office (DO) for your old address, and a label gets applied with the forwarding address. It then gets sent to the DO for your new address, which is why your expected delivery day is always one day extra than normal if it isn’t the same DO.

If, for some reason, it then wasn’t delivered and got returned to the sender with the label shown by your new address, then they don’t “get notified”, but they might notice it!

The sender can also stipulate “do not forward”, and then the mail might be returned (when they might know that you are no longer at the original address but they don’t get given your new address).

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Your mail gets sorted as normal.

The postie doing the round has a bundle of redirection cards with stickers for his/her round.

The name and address is read from the card, pulled out of the sorting frame checked against the redirection card.

If the names and address match the redirection card then a sticker is placed on the letter/letters.

Anything that is redirected within the same office is taken to the relevant posties sorting frame.

Anything going to another office is placed in a tray and sent on it's way.

I am a postie!!!!!
