Hi all,

I have a lovely friend who made a naive mistake two weeks ago - she received a phone call from a 'very believable' fraudster who asked her for some info about her bank card to 'pass security', etc. Ultimately, on the Monday she lost £350.

Even though she contacted her bank on the Monday, they are refusing to reimburse her.

Please can I ask if she has any avenue to go down on this?

Thank you.

sorry I said should when I meant shouldn't

if these payments don't fit her typical account usage

they should NOT have let them go thru.

but contact her and query them. FIRST!!

When you say she 'lost' £350, by what method was this sum deducted from the account.

Any advice I give is honest and in good faith.:)
