I bought a bed frame from an high street store and it developed a fault at month 10 (12 months warranty).

The retailer sent an assessor who said a bent frame is normal, it's just a settlement to be expected.

My wife and I are medium built, 6 foot 14 stone (me), my wife won't say...

So i called Amex and asked to do a section 75.

They said it was ok and i had to fill a form, then it would be up to 8 weeks for an answer.

Is this the correct timeframe?

Thanks

Edit: depends on the circumstances. Some disputes have been known to take months or years to rectify, but thats in extreme cases.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..
