DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

They phone me at work,

I’ll need to check the record of calls tomorrow when I’m in,

I can’t find any paperwork from Santander

I’ll phone them tomorrow and see what they can do.

I think someone mentioned I should get a bank recall on the payments I’ve made is that a good idea?

Yes I'd go ring your bank and do a charge back for all the payments

Don't go into detail

Just tell them you were sc@mmed by them into paying via them and Santander know nothing about them and never involved them

Stop ringing people!!

Stop talking on the phone ever about any debt!!

You need a paper trail

Send Satan's bank an sar

they are supposed to credit the money back to you and then sort the dispute out,

not start a dispute and delay the refund until they get to the bitter end of the matter.

So, yes money back with the day should be the norm

but if that happened it wouldnt be the norm

as they prefer to mess their customers about

rather than risk losing a few quid themselves.

Like insurance co's if they all used best practice the world would run so much better

but when you get one that drags its heels the rest join the race to the bottom so they dont get stuck holding the baby

You really need to find out the agreement type

As dx said earlier Satans car agreements were often purely personal loans

As for LCR the only time they can request money is if they visit you specifically to repo the car,at the time of the visit only

You need to start a Formal Complaint with Santander

and contact the FCA helpline and inform them what has happened

in addition to the actions you are already taking

The SAR is imperative as soon as you can afford it

The arrangement you should make with Santander is to pay your contracted payment plus the arrears divided into the months

remaining on the agreement

yes i asked several times for a chargeback and gave the reasons why i was asking for it,

they passed me to the fraud team who said it wasnt fraud and passed me back to the normal team,

they said they had to check their criteria for chargebacks and came back with it can take up to 6 days.

I have written a letter to Santander, shall I upload it here for review before i send it?
