Afternoon all. After a little advice...

My recent PPI claim was partially upheld by Canada Square Operations.

The claim relates to a (now settled) Egg Card I took out in 2001.

I received just over £500 back due to the Plevin ruling but the second part of the claim was rejected.

The letter they have sent me ignores several points I made on my claim form;

that being the pre-ticked box making me think the PPI was compulsory,

and the fact that I was an agency employee at the time of applying.

I'm led to believe that most policies did not cover temporary workers,

although I've not been able to find any T&C's for the exact cover I had.

Does anybody know if Egg PPI provided cover for agency employees at this time?

They rejected my claim based on my telling them that I would not receive any sickness/redundancy pay from my employer, so therefore the PPI was appropriate for my circumstances.

Is this worth appealing to the FOS?

You cant get plevin & PPI back.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
