I got a PCN

sadly I never realised my Disabled badge ran out yesterday.

All be it a fair, as my fault for not noticing.

The form to me is filled out incorrectly,

stating my dark blue car is grey.

Would this have any bearing as to the PCN being legally not binding?

I ask as every other form I know needs to be filled in correctly or gets thrown out of court ect ect.

Hello and welcome to CAG.

So this is a penalty charge notice from the council? People should be along to help you, but as it's the weekend things are always quieter here, so please bear with us until they're able to get here. :)

Best, HB

Is this a council ticket or a private parking ticket?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Sadly make and colour of car are not statutory requirements.

Ok, that's what I thought.

Are you saying you got a PCN, less than 24 hrs after the expiry of the Blue Badge?

That is also correct.

It is a Council Ticket, from Canterbury City Council.

Most councils are lenient for BB holders first contravention, so it's worth making an infirmal challenge. (if rejected, they will re-offer the discounted penalty)

You hadn't realised the BB had expired the previous day just hours before the contravention, you have applied for a new badge and will not use the expired badge in the meantime and ask that the council uses it's discretion on this one occasion.
