Hi

I wonder if you can help and give me some advice.

I purchased a vehicle from a car dealership in August this year,

the car is under finance (with a deposit paid by myself)

in the last 3 months i have had an ongoing issue with the clutch and now suspect that the car has a serious drivetrain problem

(its a 4x4 sports car and the issue is with the Haldex Transfer box which if damaged can cost up to 5k)

I have already returned the car to the dealership (over 130 miles away) to repair a clutch issue,

which then returned a week later,

i got my local garage to deal with the issue and low an behold the issue is still there

I am currently paying for a car i cannot drive as the potential damage to the car caused by driving makes it not only dangerous but could cause more damage,

i am also out of pocket having to fork out 150 quid a week on trainfares to work

I have made a complaint with my finance company who are speaking to the garage to get the issues repaired

i am told i have no way of claiming all the out of pocket expenses that i have already inccured and that I will incur should they take the car back.

has anyone been in this situation and hopefully some advice

many thanks

under CRA its very difficult to reclaim consequential expenses.

what do you mean by take the car back?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
