Hi all,

Hope this is in the right place...

With the new Halifax overdraft charges I am seriously struggling as my OD is almost £3k

I would like to know if there is a letter or anything I can send them to offer them a sum every month and to stop the charges from accruing while I am paying it off?

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

first job you need to do is open a parachute account with a different bank and get your wages etc paid into that . then do a I & E report to see how much money you have left after your essentials like rent etc and then you offer them a pro rata of your remaining disposable income . National debt helpline has a good one to do .

or simply use our letter that is in the debt collection section of our library.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
