go read up on managed loans HSBC as you were asked to

then you'll understand whats happened and why.

and then p'haps pop that in a letter to them

something like

I never had a £4k OD,

nor did first direct ever give me permission to have one

this is a merged debt of card etc etc etc.

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

I'm so sorry dx100uk i've only just seen that you replied.

I read your reply the wrong way and thought you meant write to them to confirm my address.

I have read up and will get a letter sent to them.

I have also logged into my Cabot account online and note they have my address displaying correctly on there so I hope that will stop a back-door CCJ.

if cabot online have your correct address

then get a screen shot of it with the date

no need to write to anyone then.

Yep i've done that!

So it's not worth me contacting them to advise that it is a managed loan and not a current account?

Also, is it still worth me sending my completed SAR, so I have everything should they go down the CCJ route?

Thanks so much for your help, it's really appreciated :)
