DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

After sending Welcome SAR request and included photocopy of my council tax bill as proof of identity and details of my address at the time I took out the agreement and the agreement number,

today I received a letter from Welcome returning my Postal Order and advising that they could not verify my identity from the information provided.

They have requested I send copy of my passport and provide an original copy of a marriage certificate, deed poll or decree absolute as evidence of my change of name.

I have not changed name?

this morning I received the AOE form from the court.

Welcome however have not yet complied with my DSAR request.

At this point it seems logical to call Mortimer's on Monday and make a payment offer.

Would this be the route to go?

Also,

if they agree to a payment plan do I still need to complete the AOE reply?

Does the DSAR still have value at the this point?

So where are we at with this.....? Did you make application to set a side N244 or submit an N245 to set a monthly payment ?

At this time I have only submitted DSAR.

Unless I have misread the advice I understood this was my move until receiving the AOE form from the court.

Which arrived yesterday.

Is now the time to make an offer to Mortimer to meet the terms of the original CCJ and offer £50 a month or threaten to suspend?

And what potential value is the DSAR now?

Very confused about what to do next so any advice gratefully received.

You have 4 options......

Complete the N56 and return it before 8 days.

Contact them direct and negotiate a payment and suspend the N56 (payment not taken through earnings/paid direct)

Submit an N245 and set payment through the court

Submit N244 and set a side the judgment if you have grounds and a defence (suspend the N56)
