It was reported in the press last week that Freeview was experiencing signal problems due to adverse weather conditions. Around this time we were losing reception on BBC1 or ItV for several seconds or more.

The freeview advice was not to retune the tv and once these specific weather conditions cleared, reception would be back to normal.

We're still getting signal drop out.

Just wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same?

ah, '...Some viewers have complained they missed The Great British Bake Off final as a consequence...' :) (from the link)

maybe it's down to the solar winds/aurora gathering pace, or perhaps haarp :)

the aurora is very strong because of the major geomagnetic storm yesterday

should die in a day or two - this will effect all radio/TV signals in oneway or another

your freeview box should have a signal strength bar some where

check its better than 2/3rd

if not think about slightly moving your aerial

if you are using an aerial booster this make you more susceptible to this type of interference too

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Although your tv is only 5 months old have you checked to see you have the latest Firmware installed for your model? (look at the tv settings you may be able to check via there or check manufacturers website)

basically nowt wrong with your telly but you might want to have your aerial checked to make sure it is still pointing in the right direction and can pick up a strong enough signal. Dont buy an aerial booster, they wont work on a digital signal in the way they did on analogues ones
