I shouldn't think they have time or the inclination to trawl internet forums for a £1000 claim ...even if they did there is nothing here they dont already know ?

We could do with some help from you.

urm i'm wondering why they are begging you to settle out of court for a discounted sum....

whilst portraying they think they have such a strong case...urm..

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Completely - I just want this to sink in

Screenshot_1.png

This would scare people and it needs to stop....

Jess - Do not worry... Just concentrate and dont let them get to you...

I see lots of default charges in the statement they have sent. Would be a shame if you won and then claimed back with IRL Case :) (The rules tated one default charge of £15 - Not numerous as shown in the current statement from BWL)

But for now concentrate on court. Let us know how you get on...

BTW MEdiation would be best as it is expected both parties try to resolve matters... What id like to know is how they have provided a statement that says the OS Balance is 861.55 but claim 1051.59 - Yes this includes costs of issuing a claim etc but shouldnt said statement include these costs?...

IT baffles me...

A bargain no?

I genuinely didn't think that they got that high...

Not judging you at all on this one ☺️

Promise... Just focus for mediation...

Hopefully they will discontinue... I don't see how a judge can condone a CCJ for an APR of that magnitude...

Completely right - DN needs to be from the OC

well no not the original default no

but proof from the records of the original creditor that one was sent

not simply an intimation from a fleecing debt buyer that the OC did issue one.

its interesting to note their careful use of words too.

they aren't saying the OC defaulted you but that your breached their terms.

I would tell mediation that you have not received all the required paperwork to make an informed decision.

Hi there!

Thank you for checking back in with me :-)

I'm still waiting! Had a notice of transfer of proceedings over a month ago but no hearing date yet. How long does it usually take?

Any possibility it will just go away? (I know the answer to that)

Seems a long time...ring your local county court and ask if the Notice of Allocation (N157 has been issued yet ?

So it had apparently been issued but just never arrived. They resent it so I now have the hearing date. I'll check back in with all the deeds this weekend to sort my next steps.

Hello there...I've been waiting to see if I'd receive a WS/bundle, which I now have so I've been working on my WS and I need to get it off asap (is it ok to deliver on the 14th day, or does it need to be before the 14th day)

For any advice/help do I need to post up the entire WS from BW?

Thank you
