then you didn't pay

its not a dect collection notice

its a notice of enforcement giving you 7 days to act.

so why have you not received anything prior

car not registered to the correct address

you must act else they'll be round your door with another £235 fee added

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Agree that you should pay it and make enquiries afterwards. Not sure you want enforcement agents on your doorstep clamping your car and wanting £235 more.

If your address with DVLA is up to date, then find out from the Dartford Crossing operators why you did not receive notice. Sure you will find details online about how to contact them.

We could do with some help from you.

I have received a debt collection enforcement notice from Northampton County Court from Marston's for a penalty notice for crossing Dartford on 23 March. I did cross at Dartford on 23 March but have received no prior notice and have no idea what the penalty is for... any advice?

When using the Dartford Crossing payment must be made online (or by phone) by midnight the day or the crossing. If payment is not made, by midnight the day after the crossing, you will be sent a Penalty Charge Notice and the amount will increase to £70. The amount is discounted to £35 provided that payment is made within a strict period of 14 days beginning with the date of service of the PCN.

Most importantly, when crossing, the cameras will record your car registration number and the penalty charge will be sent to the address where the vehicle had been registered on that day.

If you had not received any notices, then it is always the case that the V5C (Log Book) had not been updated.

What date is given on the Notice of Enforcement and how much is being requested?
