Yes they can. If you don't pay the tickets and enforcement fees, it can be sold. You might be best to keep the car hidden somewhere until you have resolved this matter.

What is the value of the car ?

Were you aware of the parking tickets at the time they were issued ? Do you have the details of these ?

Yes, public highway or your property.

They cannot if a blue badge is displayed in the vehicle or if the car is parked on someone else's private property

And a word of caution, if they have taken control of the vehicle and posted all the correct paperwork you CANNOT sell it. That opens a can of worms.

What is the notice that you have received. Can you post back to state what exactly it says.

To get to this very last stage (where a visit is made) you should have received three letters from the council for each parking debt.

You should have also received from Marston Holdings a notice for each debt entitled a Notice of Enforcement. Did you receive any of these letters?

I notice from your earlier posts that about two months ago, your car was damaged and that you were about to dispose of it. Accordingly, the car that has been 'taken into control' by Marston's would not be the car that was involved in the parking contraventions. I assume that it is your newer vehicle that has been seized?
