you sent a letter? I hope not, it is your sons business and any correspondence from you is pointless, worthless and may stiffen their determination to go after him

Eric's bro , sorry if the way I was trying to explain, the situation was misunderstood .just to make it clear my son as the registered keeper sent off a letter to c e l . stating the points you made . I would appreciate any input you might offer going forward

No worries. Just update the thread, if you hear any more. We get a lot of parents or friends helping out others and it becomes their personal challenge. Personally, i think your Son should be taking ownership of dealing with such issues, otherwise he won't learn anything from this. He will see you as his personal assistant clearing up after him. Trouble is that if this did end up in court, he would have to deal with it, so he might as well start being interested.

We could do with some help from you.

Good, CEL know they are rogues so often drop the matter once they have been called out but they are also greedy and dishonest so it is now a waiting game to see what they do, if anything. However, we still want to see the signs, entrance to the land etc so we can help reassure you/him at the next stage or see off any furhter demand that may lead to them thinkiing it is worth a try at court.
