No one is going to help you if you show attitude! All you have said recently is that it is all in the thread.

 

I cannot see where you have identified who fitted the mail order clutch kit, professional or amateur. Neither for that matter have you identified make and model of vehicle. This is all relevant when it comes to premature failure of any component, but particularly so when it comes to clutches where even minor inbalance or mis adjustment can cause wear. You keep repeating that the fitting is not the problem, but even Sachs would not warranty one of their units if incorrectly fitted.

 

In the day, many Metro, Escort, Astra etc clutches were repeatedly changed when the main fault lay with a binding clutch cable!

My time as a Police Officer and subsequently time working within the Motor Trade gives me certain insights into the problems that consumers may encounter.
