Hi guys, help needed please.

I've received a further steps letter today from NCES historic debt team.

The name is spelt wrong and for a debt which is historic, I've had no correspondence regarding it.

In the last two years I've paid 2 fines which have gone to bailiffs and I thought I'd cleared all of this up.

I've never had more than two fines ever,

I've paid two fines

one of which was for two offences which made me feel the second time was an error.

Now this one has come and I really believe there is a mistake here.

Before I call up does anyone know if mistakes such as fines being issued twice or people being chased for fines they have paid actually happen?

Also if the name is spelt incorrectly could this be used to say it wasn't me?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

James

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

You only have 10 working days to appeal from the date given on the Further Steps Notice. What is the date on the FSN?

Please do not provide your full name on the public forum, but can you explain how your name is spelt incorrectly.
