In the parking bay that belongs to the block of flats I live in . I always considered it to be like a driveway

It depends. In my road there is an allocated space off road for excess cars to park. This is clearly off road and is obvious to anyone. There is a pavement and lowered curb in front of it.

From the Google image which dx posted the space with the white van in it, is just a lay by and part of the road. There is no lowered curb or markings showing it to be off road space.

We could do with some help from you.

If the parking bay belongs to the block of flats, and so is not part of a road repairable at public expense, a SORN is valid.

In which case I should find out from Bexley Council if the road is repairable at public expense and if it isn't then the Sorn is valid

If the parking bays belong to the flats, get confirmation of that from the agency.

Thank you Raykay . I am off tomorrow so I will go and see Able Estates down the road and ask for confirmation.

Still think they do but till they confirm it . Logically that bay cannot be a public bay even though no permit is needed . Also Insurance companies accepts it as driveway. But as you say I need this in writing.

looks promising!!

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Good afternoon

As I said yesterday , I was going to go and ask the Agency about the car park and sadly they confirmed it as being public road , but they said there is a car park at the back of the flats and that would be ok to park a sorn there , obviously that's always full so yeah I was just lucky I suppose . Sorry everyone I could've ask the Agency first. But even so I would still ask more people before giving up.

Greatly appreciate everybody input

Thank you
