Hey all

Not been on here in while!

ok so here goes

My wife has got herself into a bit of debt without my knowledge and is now struggling to make payments etc due to us moving home and the expense that has caused so Im starting with Provident

She had been paying nearly £60 a week to provident for a £2200 loan it looks it split into 2 different loans

£700 Flat rate interest 68.50%

APR 191.20%

£1500 same interest rates as above

this is causing a great deal of grief in the household soo please could anyone help with advise on how to go about tackling this one?

Thank You

Paul

Other people know more than I do, but two examples of IL would be when your wife couldn't afford the repayments or if Provident rolled over loans into new borrowing. I'm sure there are others.

You could do a search of CAG for irresponsible lending, there are regularly threads on that, especially in the payday loan section.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
