Is there any way of transferring or copying pictures from a cd

That has music playing along side the pictures it's actually a wedding cd and would like if possible to have the pics that are on it.

Its likely that it is either a video or a slideshow on the CD.

If it is a slideshow your might be able to get into the actual pictures. Right click on the CD drive or your computer and 'explore'. Search around in the folders on the CD and see if you can find the pictures.

If it is a video then you can screen grab the pictures and paste them into paint to enable you to save them. To do this press 'ctrl', 'alt' and 'prt sc' together on your keyboard on the first picture you want to save. Then open paint and press 'ctrl' and 'v' to paste. You should then see the picture on screen. Save the picture (file, save as) and follow these steps for each picture you want to save.

list the files on the disk

OK so I put the disk in followed your instructions all that comes up is desktop downloads documents and pictures doesn't list no files on disk.

click the drive letter of your cd drive d: is it?

The cd possibly auto runs a program, which could be something created with some software like adobe after effects (although there are literally dozens and dozens of commonly used programs to create these sort of things)

Could even be a powerpoint presentation.

The program that is run could be 'hidden' like system files are by default in windows.

The pics may or may not be easily available and may have been wrapped up in a created program although that is by no means certain.

I believe it is common for the bride and groom to get the pics themselves on disks.

One way to get around them is to use a screen grabber utility to effectively 'grab' whats displayed and save it.

BUT

First thing to try is to browse the CD but with you file and folder options set to 'show hidden files'
