I'm not really sure where to start but I've made some huge mistakes and have got myself into quite a bit of debt.

I stupidly took out a payday loan/credit account with safetynet credit- that's where the problem started.

I took it out when I wasn't working and each month they upped the limit until I couldn't afford to pay it back each month.

So now I owe the £1000 + the interest is adding up.

I also have a loan of £500 with pfp which I am paying back at £50 a month.

2 credit cards with capital one with a total of £1000 which I am behind with one payment.

2 store cards with very and littlewoods which have a total of £900 on them- I'm up to date with those payments.

I'm somehow managing to just about keep my head above water but each month it gets harder.

I've thought about a dmp but I'm worried that they will default me and I will have to wait years for them to go off my credit file

- I know this might sound silly given my current situation

but believe it or not, up until last year I was relatively debt free,

had spent years putting my life right and getting defaults removed etc.

I just don't know when it will end,

I have 3 children,

one who is disabled

and Every month with bills on top of the debts are crippling me.

I don't know what I'm asking for really.

Just had to write down my problems somewhere.

What do you have as an income?

NONE of these loans, cards or store cards are priority debts.

Please ensure you pay your rent/mortgage and all priority debts first before you pay these vultures.

Have you done your own I&E form?

Have you told them, ''in writing'' that you're having financial difficulties?

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!

Thankyou I will go and have a read.

Luckily my husband pays the mortgage and council tax so at least that isn't a concern.

Income wise, I earn £110 a week, which in reality is about £80 as I have to pay fuel costs.

I also get carers allowance for caring for my disabled son and also DLA HRC LRM for him too.

I haven't informed these companies of my financial problems.

To be honest I've only really just admitted to myself that there is a problem today as safetynet made a card withdrawal and cleared my account this morning..

.I guess you could say it is a kick up the bum to sort stuff out.

Then you might like to inform your creditors that you are in financial difficulty, and can they assist you.

Do this IN WRITING not over the phone, as you'll need their response written down, they all talk the talk, about informing them at the earliest if you're having difficulties meeting payments, but the truth of the matter is, most of them couldn't care less, and demand you pay them what they want.

You might also like to open another account, with a separate banking group.

you need to ring you bank up and cancel the CPA's and stop these fleecers raiding you bank account

go GET THAT MONEY BACK.

smells to me like you might need to investigate irresponsible lending claims too.

is this your only PDL?

is you credit file already shot?

if so they shouldnt be lending to you

Thanks. I will write to them all on Monday.

I have one late payment on my credit file (Capital one) but everything else is up to date other than a settled default which is about to come off my file.

I have requested a new card from my bank, will that not suffice in stopping them taking a card payment?

I know I only have myself to blame, but safetynet didn't help things, 2 months ago I had a limit of £700, I maxed it out and was late paying,

I logged on a few weeks later to see the huge interest added and that they had upped my limit to £1100.

Certainly don't help things

no cancelling the card doesn't stop CPA go ring your bank now and cancel all of the CPA's

sadly I don't think you are going to prevent your credit file being trashed whichever way you go.

might pay you as advised earlier

pop off the the post office site or the co-op site and open a new bank account

get you income paid into a parachute account that no-one has any access too bar YOU.

Hi,

[removed]

Ive had over £3,000 back in payday loans because of irresponsible lending.

So it might be worth you giving it a try to get yourself out of the horrible situation you are in.

I also have a PPI claim agaisnt Shop Direct (littlewoods) and a claim agaisnt them for irresponsible lending. 2009-2014. Also trying capitalone.
