Hi all - this is a split off from a more general thread where following your Cash Cow advice I have sent off many CCA's

This is a RBS CC taken out in early 2005 - Balance around £700

Currently paying £1 to Moorcroft

They acknowledge receipt of CCA but request "in line of their clients procedures" a hand signed request... they returned the old one for a signature..

The also ask the the PO gets made out to the client ( atm it just says xxx)

On hold 30 days blah blah

I gather this is all rubbish so what is my next move?

Thanks again

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

total crap then.

you could sent the CCA request to RBS

[which p'haps would of been better

i'm sure I said to moorcrofts client as they don't own the debt and to all intent and purpose can be TOTALLY ignored

they have no legal powers whatsoever.]

yes

it should have gone to the owner of the debt in the first place.
