I've claimed my ppi back from several companies over the last three years and it's been brought to my attention that I've paid the tax man a percentage of this money even though I don't earn enough to pay tax !

Problem is I'm self employed so have already done my tax returns .

Can or how do I claim this money back ?

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi dx... What if the PPI was in joint names?

I recently claimed back PPI from HSBC...

there was no separate insurance policy,

so it must have been added to the loan,

which was in both our names...

HSBC paid us back the PPI minus the tax..

. so who claims the tax back?

(Neither of us are taxpayers).

Thank you.

TB

Sorry to hijack the thread!

I asked MBNA for a R185 certificate and apparently they don't do them!

Being as they have never had my tax details do you think they are pocketing all this tax money ready for their next night out!

Looking forward to your reply dx
