I am also trying to find PPI provider for Argos in 1990. Don't know if it's too late. Contacted Argos and their reply was:- Unfortunately, I am still unable to locate an Argos Storecard Account.

If you took PPI before 2000 then you would need to contact

First National

Tricity Finance

There are a lot of Forums regarding this company and some of them give a contact telephone number for First National, it is now part of the Santander group.
